Where Every Child Finds Their Stage
We believe every child has a performer inside them. NoCo Theatrix exists to help them find it — through story, song, movement, and the magic of live theater.
Our Story
NoCo Theatrix was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that the performing arts can change a child's life. Based in Windsor, Colorado, we've been bringing children's theater to Northern Colorado — creating productions that spark imagination in performers and audiences alike.
From our very first production, we've seen shy kids step into the spotlight, friendships form across age groups, and young performers discover confidence they didn't know they had. Theater teaches children how to listen, collaborate, persevere, and express themselves — skills that serve them far beyond the stage.
Today, NoCo Theatrix offers programs for children ages 3–18, from first-time performers to seasoned young actors. Whether your child dreams of the lead role or wants to work behind the scenes, there's a place for them here.

Jes
Owner & Lead Teacher
Jes is the owner and lead teacher at NoCo Theatrix in Windsor. She has previously taught music at Beattie Elementary in PSD, Windsor Middle School in Weld-RE4, and Monarch K-8 in BVSD. Jes holds a master's degree in Integrated Arts Education and a bachelor's in Music Education. She enjoys sharing her passion for music and a love of learning with students of all ages, and is absolutely thrilled to be mentoring teachers as they learn how to foster a love of performing by supporting and guiding the next generation of artists.
Clare
Dance & Choreography Instructor
Clare has loved dance since she started dancing at age 2, attending elementary and middle school at a performing arts academy with a focus on ballet, jazz, tap, and modern. In high school, she produced, choreographed, and performed in her own dance show, and at 18 discovered a new passion for swing and ballroom dancing. She now enjoys sharing her love of movement as a teacher and choreographer at NoCo Theatrix, encouraging young performers to express themselves, grow in confidence, and find joy in dance.
Keira
Theater Education & Directing Instructor
Keira fell in love with theater when she was in the second grade and hasn't looked back since. She is currently pursuing her degree in Theater Education and Directing, with minors in dance and technical theater at the University of Northern Colorado. She loves every part of theater and has acted, directed, produced, choreographed, and designed. But more than any of that, Keira loves teaching and is so grateful for the opportunity to teach all of your wonderful kids! She was recently recognized at UNC as the director of the Best Student Production this spring: Sleuth by Anthony Shaffer.
